          The multi-manifold with capping freeze dryer is a freeze drying equipment that combines a multi-manifold design with a capping function. Design and functional features

Working Principle

The working process of a multi-manifold capping freeze dryer is usually divided into the following three main stages:

  1. Freezing stage: The sample is first rapidly cooled to an extremely low temperature in the dryer to freeze the water in the sample. The goal of this stage is to lock the water in the sample through rapid freezing to prevent structural damage.
  2. Sublimation drying stage: Under vacuum conditions, ice sublimates directly into water vapor and is discharged from the drying chamber through the manifold. Precise control of temperature and vacuum allows the sublimation process to proceed smoothly and ensures the stability of the sample.
  3. Capping stage: After drying is completed, the sample container is capped and sealed in a vacuum or inert gas environment. This stage greatly protects the product from oxidation or contamination and is suitable for long-term storage.
