The multi-manifold with capping freeze dryer is a freeze drying equipment that combines a multi-manifold design with a capping function. Design and functional features
- Multi-manifold design: The device is equipped with multiple manifolds, each of which can be connected to a sample container, such as a flask, test tube or ampoule. This design allows multiple samples to be processed simultaneously, which is suitable for situations where a variety of different samples need to be processed.
- Capping function: In addition to the multi-manifold design, the device is also equipped with a capping device. This function allows the container containing the product to be capped and sealed directly after the drying process is completed, ensuring the stability and long-term preservation of the sample.
- Independent control: Each connecting manifold is usually equipped with an independent control valve, and the operator can control the drying process and capping operation of each sample separately. This design increases the flexibility of the device and can adjust parameters according to the characteristics of different samples to ensure the drying effect and sealing quality.

Working Principle
The working process of a multi-manifold capping freeze dryer is usually divided into the following three main stages:
- Freezing stage: The sample is first rapidly cooled to an extremely low temperature in the dryer to freeze the water in the sample. The goal of this stage is to lock the water in the sample through rapid freezing to prevent structural damage.
- Sublimation drying stage: Under vacuum conditions, ice sublimates directly into water vapor and is discharged from the drying chamber through the manifold. Precise control of temperature and vacuum allows the sublimation process to proceed smoothly and ensures the stability of the sample.
- Capping stage: After drying is completed, the sample container is capped and sealed in a vacuum or inert gas environment. This stage greatly protects the product from oxidation or contamination and is suitable for long-term storage.
