The sterilization-in-place glass bioreactor is a device specially designed for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields. It has the function of sterilizing directly in the reactor without disassembling the reactor. This type of reactor is usually used in fermentation, cell culture, microbiological research and other processes. It can maintain a sterile environment during operation while ensuring the efficiency of experiments and production.
Working Principle
The sterilization in place glass bioreactor sterilizes the inside of the reactor directly by using high temperature steam or chemical sterilizers, without disassembling or moving the equipment. The sterilization process is usually carried out in a closed system to prevent external contaminants from entering the reactor. The equipment is also equipped with an automated control system that can accurately monitor the sterilization time and temperature to ensure that all microorganisms or impurities are completely removed.

Main components
- Reactor body: Made of high-temperature resistant glass, suitable for high-temperature steam or chemical sterilizers, the transparent structure facilitates real-time monitoring of the reaction.
- Sterilization system: Usually a steam sterilization system is used, which can directly generate high-temperature steam inside the reactor to kill microorganisms.
- Temperature control system: Precisely control the sterilization temperature to ensure that the sterilization is thorough and will not have adverse effects on the reactor materials or contents.
